Just got back to Madison from a couple of great days at Kohler-Andrae on Lake Michigan. It was beautiful and because it was so early in the season, I had a lot of beach to myself. Got the first sunburn of the season!
There are over 2 miles of beach and dunes with boardwalks going through as well as a small forested area. So lots of walking, a little venturing into the water, an lots of sitting on a due reading. My friend Amberly came with her family the second night, so I got a little social time too.

Sounds like you need to get a sea kayak!
