Christmas Time!

For the past few years, getting a Christmas tree needed to be one person job and that meant going to Home Depot to pick one out. Luckily, Amberly and Orion volunteered to help me this year, so we headed out to Hann's Tree farm on Monday. It was pretty cold, but very fun to go out and cut my tree down myself this year.
Everything went incredibly easily - beautiful tree found quickly, cut down without any injuries, and even hauled to the car and tied on without any help from Amberly or me.

The apartment now smells great and the tree looks fabulous after 5 strings of lights and almost all of my ornaments. And... Molly has admired the tree without attacking any part of it.

Hmmm... Haven't quite figured out the formatting of these posts.

Questions:
Why did it need to be a one person job?
Who's Amberly and Orion?
And how did you sucker them into doing all the work for your tree¿

Hee hee, accidentally hit the backwards question mark!

Thanks for sharing!

It's so pretty! I hope we get a chance to come see it (and you and The Cat) in person one of these days. :-)

David - One person job because there was no one else in the household or no one that had time or inclination to help.
I work with Amberly and have Orion in my class right now. They are the ones that I went to D.C. with and I've taught skiing with Amberly in the past.
The guy at the tree farm just offered to do everything and who was I to say no? I'm not sure if they offer to help everyone or he just did since it was a Monday afternoon and pretty slow.
I don't even know how to make a backwards question mark!

Oh, and Amberly was the one who had a home birth which I attended... and I cut Orion's cord after he came out.
